The thought of beginning our fifth decade is overwhelming. Many of us may be thinking, “I used to know who I wanted to be, but now I’m not sure anymore”. Boomers have always been different. So many questions about career, family, aging, self-image, worth and all so very confusing! Many Boomers are finding themselves in a time of transition. Millions are becoming empty nesters while others are still raising children and caring for elderly parents as well. By definition, a Baby Boomer is generally someone who was born between the years
1946 and 1964 - now between the ages of 44 and 62. This 18 year span represents those years directly following World War II that
was characterized by economic prosperity, but more importantly, led to the biggest population boom in history ? lasting until the introduction of the birth control pill in 1964.
